    2. Apply enzyme cleaner, stain remover, and/or liquid detergent to stain.
    3. If nothing worked, and the garment allows, wash in chlorine or oxygen bleach to eliminate remaining stain.
    1. Try to remove excess gunk without worsening the stain.
    2. Rinse (from inside out) or soak in cold water for 30 minutes or more.
    3. Apply detergent to the affected area and blot (not rub!)
    4. Put baking soda, then vinegar, to bubble the stain away and/or use stain remover, or enzyme cleaner.
    5. Put garment in wash on hottest temperature.
    6. If stain is not gone, do not dry it yet, repeat previous steps until stain is removed.
    1. Rinse stain from backside.
    2. Mix detergent and ammonia and begin blotting the stain.
    3. Rinse stain from the backside.
    4. Blot stain with mixture of white vinegar and dishwashing detergent.
    5. Apply stain remover and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
    6. Wash as recommended for garment.
    1. First, apply stain remover pretreatment (spray or stick pretreatments are better for oily stains)continue to soak in lukewarm water and apply heavy duty detergent if needed.
    2. For those extra difficult stains, apply dry cleaning solvent or bleach to the inside of the garment, place garment facedown on paper towels until dry, and then wash thoroughly.
    1. Run cold water through the back of the stain.
    2. Apply dish-washing detergent to the stain (preferably from the back) and scrub in with a toothbrush.
    3. Add around 4 drops of vinegar to the stain.
    4. Wrap stain in paper towel and let sit for 5 minutes.
    5. Rinse with cold water and wash as normal.
Timing is everything.

Fighting a stain as soon as it happens is the best way to ensure the best results. The longer you wait to try and get the stain out, the more difficult it will be.
